Rope Access Manager

Purpose:   

The Rope Access Manager is responsible for the management of the Rope Access activities within C-Ventus. He/she   takes care of the establishment and further development of both the commercial and operational activities. He/she   oversees all Rope Access related activities, procedures, method statements, risk assessments and other relevant   documentation. He/she generally acts as the internal and external knowledge center in relation to the provision and performance of Rope Access services.

Director of Operations 

 Job requirements:   

The operational management of Rope Access activities and acquisition of new Rope Access Projects.   

The Rope Access Manager takes care to establish and develop long term relations with clients and strategic partners. 

 Responsibilities:   

The Rope Access Manager is overall responsible for defining, implementing and reviewing a safe system of working for our Rope Access personnel.    

In the role of Rope Access Manager, you will:  

• Oversee, manage and review the quality and safety of Rope Access activities within the organization   
• Prepare Rope Access projects in terms of planning, method statements, risk assessments, etc.   
• Support our commercial department in tendering and contracting phase  
• Assist planning in the composition of Rope Access teams    
• Support project management and manage Rope Access teams, as and when required    
• Carry out regular workplace inspections   
• Evaluate Rope Access activities upon completion of projects   

 The Rope Access Manager will also be involved in general commercial and marketing activities. 

 Competences:   

We are looking for a team player who has knowledge of the Rope Access industry and is eager to develop a safe   working environment for our personnel and to build new relationships with (potential) clients.   

In short we require:  

• Competence, knowledge of and experience with Rope Access procedures in accordance with the company 

competence matrix   

• Leadership abilities  
• Holds a valid IRATA Level 1 certificate   
• Holds a valid SCC Supervisor certificate   
• Full GWO certification is a pré
